I love the calming sound of this drum. When I first got it, I played it for an hour nonstop! I start and end each day playing, and it is very relaxing. I purchased the drum not only for myself, but with the intention of using it with my hospice patients (I'm a hospice Chaplain) to bring a calming, musical experience to them that THEY could create: they love it as well! The size is perfect for sitting in their lap, whether they are sitting up in a chair, or in bed - and the mallets are just the right size, and produce a rich and full sound.

I love this mini Hapi Drum. It's sounds beautiful no matter how you play it. I keep it out and handy and frequently find myself reaching for it to play. I am finding it so relaxing and am so glad I treated myself!

Play it everyday. The family is fascinated by it!

Well tuned, easiest to tune with (you'll never guess) a tuner! Versatile instrument, great tone, especially out of the medium sized tongues. Using it for Mason's Healing Arts Ensemble.
