I purchased a didgi and started pack for my husband for christmas. He has wanted a didgi for years. I received the package much faster than I expected and was very pleased with the beautiful didgi. The dvd and book are very clear and helpful. Thank you for an excellent product and service.
This didj is great for beginners to advanced players like it says. It is perfect with practicing to play in many keys. Moreover the advanced players should find it fun that (especially in the lower keys) depending on the embouchure it is possible to drop up to a 4th or 5th below the root note. For this, it kinda is a fully chromatic didj. It looks beautiful too, in person the diameter looks much thicker. The material is a very dense durable plastic pvc. The bell at the end looks very nice, it makes the didj appear to be made of real wood. Now for the sound, the drone is powerful, the harmonics are springy, mesmerizing, and penetrating. The toots produce colorful tones, it reminds me of a kalimba or a marimba. The slider slides and transitions note to note very smoothly depending on the person. Vocals come out clean. This didj came with DVD and as well the story of didgeridoo's origins. (It's VERY INTERESTING!) I''ll end off this review with my only criticism; I am always cautious with the bell for it seems fragile and that's why I handle with care this didj. But despite that I'll give no less than five out of five stars.
I am a beginner who has never played before. This Didgeridoo is made of thin plastic. Threading the D to E section gets crossed threaded at times. Sound is good but my slide didge from TDS is all around better made and sounding. I can hit the horn easier and circular breath easier on it all while playing it in better sounding keys. I prefer their slide didge over the travel one.
Got in timely manner and well packed. Nice. I like it.
